Maile Malin is a UX/UI and visual designer in Los Angeles, working on creating user-friendly mobile apps, products, and websites. A tireless advocate of user needs, she is extremely passionate about understanding human experiences through research and usability testing in order to create engaging and intuitive products. She is motivated by an innate desire to help people, inspire happiness, and innovate. Maile holds a BA in Human Geography (the analog version of UX) and a BS in Interaction Design. She was honored to have had her conceptual student product, ALEYE, shortlisted in the 2018 IxDA Awards among professional and existing products.

In 2019, Maile was awarded a fellowship with Code for America working towards improving the affordable housing application process in Santa Monica. She also consults Β on research and design as a volunteer Hack for LA Brigade member.
