Maile Malin is a UX/UI designer and researcher in Los Angeles. A tireless advocate of user needs, she is completely dedicated to understanding human experiences through research and usability testing in order to create engaging and intuitive products. She is motivated by an innate desire to help people, inspire happiness, and innovate.
Maile has a Bachelors of Science in Interaction Design and a Bachelors of Arts in Human Geography (which she calls the analog version of Interaction Design). She was honored to have had her conceptual student product, ALEYE, shortlisted in the 2018 IxDA Awards among professional and existing products.
Maile was awarded a 2019 fellowship with Code for America, working on improving the affordable housing application process in Santa Monica. She also consults on research and design as a volunteer Hack for LA Brigade member.
